Out with the Old.... In with the New...

Life is like a river. You either swim against it and tire out fairly quickly;for you are constantly resisting. The current. The rocks. The pressure. Or...you LET GO and swim WITH the FLOW. With it... Not against it. Happy New Years to all!!!Start it off right. Out with the Old! In with the New! Let go.. and just go with the flow this year. When you don't resist. It becomes a whole lot easier! :0)
“Oh and remember... You must feel the lows in order to able to feel the highs!” RAN
 This year for some reason, I had not given New Year’s Resolutions much thought. It was not until a friend of mine sent me a message filled with enthuasim and pure joy. For this friend was ready to let go of the old and genuinely and full heartily start the new year of right.
Out with the Old… In with the New…
Letting go of all pain... hurt... resentments...fears...regrets...hate...suffering...revenge...shame...thought of lacks and limitations..doubts.. anguish...confusion.
 Oh.. I could keep going. I'm sure you could to.
Think about it for a moment.

Think about your life in particular.

What are some things you need to get rid off?
Let's start off with the physical things..

Let go of the ones that no longer serve a purpose.
A "realistic" purpose that is.
Holding on to all the old "stuff" prevents the flow of new stuff from manifesting in your life.
I will admit to be one of these hoarders.

I know that I have ALOT of STUFF.

Things I let go off.

Once you have downgraded your personal collection to a more feasible level.
It's time to start looking within.

For that is where all New Years Resolutions should Begin and End…
Never make one for anyone else but YOU and only YOU.

So what are some things you need to get rid of?

The fact that you have… a short temper?

Are too shy?
Are constantly in a state of fear? worry? doubt? hate? anger? pain? suffering? .... I can keep on going.

But I won't.

This is your list.

Right down all that you must purge.

Dig down as deep as you need to.

Write it down.
It will help the process.

Now once you have your list.

Read it.

Over and over.

Feel the emotions tied to each thing.
Feel it in your Body.
Your Mind.

and Your Soul.

Feel the emotions.
Feel the anger.

Feel the pain.
Engrave this moment into your mind.
Not a good feeling.. right?
Feel that.
That "not" feeling good part.
Remember that.
In your Mind.
Your Body.
Your Soul.
Think about the things you do.
The things you say.
The things you feel.
One by one.
Let go.
Let go of the habit.
Let go of the past.
Let go of the present.
Start this New Year.
Blank.
Fresh.
New.
Re start!!!!!

Now
I want you to write down a list of things that make you feel good.
I don't mean that fleeting kinda good.
The one you get from external sources.
I'm talking about the deep down in your belly kinda joy.
The one that you can only feel from within YOU and only YOU.
I too started this process.
I began to write down things that make me feel good.
I'll share parts of it with you.

* Music
* Dancing
*Learning and evolving
*My spiritual journey
*Meditating
* Surround myself with positive and intellectual stimulating people
* Learning to play the guitar
* Keeping everything around me clean and tidy
* Eating healthy and continue working out
* Not smoking
* Reading
*Blogging
* Volunteering
*Helping
*Toastmasters
* Center of Spiritual Living
* Documentaries/movies
* Being in control of my ego
* Being LOVE especially with the ones that push my buttons
*Gratitude
* Being non judgmental
* Continue shining my light
* Travelling
Ok... The list does actually go on... but I want you to write your own list.

Take as long as you need.
Connect with your breath.
And let the words flow right out of you.
Once you're done writing it.
Read it.
Over and over.

Feel the emotions.
The excitement.
The joy.
The love.
The peace.
Feel whatever feelings bubble up from the depth of your core.
Remember them.
Feel them in your body.
Create pictures of them and make yourself a collage to look at every morning and  night.

As I began to reflect upon my list, I realized that I have just manifested my resolutions.
So here are some questions to ask yourself when you’re compiling yours:

1. Does this make me feel good?
2. Is this activity for mine and the world's best interest?
3.  Does this make me feel happy and joyous? Pure joy that is.
4. Is this utilizing my creative juices?
5. Am I connected to the present moment when doing this activity?
6. Am I listening to my spirit and intuition?
Feel free to add some more of your own.

Happy New Years to All!
