Vision Board

What is a vision board?

It can be a board, a poster, power point... any method will work really.

Essentially what you are doing is choosing images and words of things you want to achieve, accomplish or have.

A job?
A Relationship?
Travel?
A car?
A goal?
A dream?
A desire?
A vision?
Love?
Abundance?
Happiness?
Success?

Find a picture or word that represents your desire.

For instance on my board... I have a picture of the world, a plane, some beautiful scenery and some names of countries which all represent my desire and dream to travel around the world.

Chose whatever works for you.

I found pictures online that I printed.
Others prefer images that they have taken or pictures from magazines.

I used Microsoft Word to write the words but you can also use magazines.

Some words I chose...

Love
Happiness
Abundance
I CAN
I am successful
LOVE
Joy
Peru
Costa Rica
I love my life

Now the idea behind this is the fact that your subconscious speaks, process, understand and is programmed through images, metaphors, music and words.

Therefore the images/words on your board will be directly imprinted and downloaded into your subconscious.

Every day spend some time looking at the images.
Keep in mind however that the trick is that you have to already envision that everything you see on your board is already part of your reality.

Feel what it would feel like.
See what it would look like.
Taste it.
Touch it.
Breath it.
Smell it.

Why do this you ask?

Simply because your subconscious does not differentiate between reality and imagination.

In other words, by imaging that all your dreams are already a reality, your subconscious believes it to be true.

In turn, it begins to work its magic by aligning the universe in ways to manifest your dreams.

By...

Attracting that person you need to meet to get that job.
Attracting the book you need to read to change your life.
By receiving an invite to an event where you end up meeting your partner.

And so on...

Your subconscious also learns through repetition so doing this daily will help strengthen the programming of your subconscious, which in turn will intensify its manifesting power.

Your subconscious is most programmable when it's in Alpha state which is the state that your brain is in when it's in meditative and hypnosis mode.

When your brain is in the Alpha state, the link between your subconscious and conscious mind is intensified, therefore the programming becomes even stronger.

So what should you do?

1. Create your board. Look at mine to get an idea or look online to find other examples. THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO DO IT. Just make sure that you can truly connect and feel the images and words you chose as if they are already a reality.

2. Spend 10-20 minutes meditating to bring your mind into an alpha state. Meditating will also help raise your vibrational level in turn increasing your manifesting power.

3. Play some relaxing music as this will help intensify the connection to your subconscious.

4.Spend some time looking at your board. Look at each picture and word and feel as they are already a reality.

It will help to do affirmations while doing this step.

So in my example I would look at my board and say:

"I love my job!"
" I love Costa Rica it's so beautiful here!"
"My body is healthy whole and complete"
"I am successful in all that I do"
"I love my life!"

Make sure that your affirmations are in the present tense.

I would also add some gratitude.

" I am so grateful for my new job!"
" I am so grateful for my trip to Costa Rica"

"When you are in a sincere state of gratitude your energy (vibrational resonance) is one of acceptance and harmony. You resonate, and as a result project a much higher vibrational frequency which is exactly what attracts to you the events, conditions, and circumstances that you desire."

5. Repeating this everyday will help intensify the messages being downloaded into your subconscious which in turn will help intensify the manifesting power of your mind.

6. Voila!!!! Before you know it you will be amazed by how one by one the images on your board become a reality.

7. Be patient and kind with yourself. It can take some time.

Ok.... so I invite you to try this with me.

I will be using this blog to document my progress. :)

Feel free to share some of your experiences with me.

I would love to hear from you!
