Happiness and joy are not the same thing. Happiness is an emotion
that, like all emotions, comes and goes, while joy is a fundamental
feeling and attitude toward life. It is permanently a part of one’s consciousness.
I recently read a statement that is meaningful to me: “It is not as
important what you turn from as what you turn toward.” Turning
away from what is happening around us is not as important to
happiness and joy as turning toward that which uplifts us from
within—the Spirit of life, creativity, and joy. We know that we will
not always be happy, but by praising and blessing life as it appears,
we have access to the deep, fundamental joy and creativity that is the
essence of Spirit.
We can say that life, the life of the Universe, is good—all the
time. We can always say yes to this inner joy and then begin creating
the circumstances we desire. Praise is a key to unlock the creativity
within. Even in the worst of times, we can find and praise something,
even if it is just the fact that we are alive. Nothing can interfere with
joy when we know that we are one with the life of the Divine.

Today, I approach life with a thankful heart. Right here and right
now, I am an instrument through which Life flows, and I say yes to
my joy.

Can we worry wisely? I read a church bulletin blooper that said,
“Don’t let worry kill you. Let the church help.” I hope I am not
giving that kind of help when I say a little worry won’t kill you—
if you worry wisely. Worrying unwisely is using the imagination to
create scenarios we don’t want to happen. It’s “what if” taking us
down a dark road, alone, at night, in a storm.
When we trust in the Divine Intelligence, we will pay attention
to our worries—to our thoughts and the imagination. Sometimes a
concern that just won’t go away is the nudging of the intuition, our
connection to Divine Mind. So we can ask ourselves, “What am I
trying to tell myself with this concern?” Then ask, “What action
can I take to ease my mind, or change the situation for the better?”
When we trust that we are one with divine wisdom and intelligence
and guided by love, we can take our worries and turn them
into guidance. We can use them to become more productive. Trust
yourself, trust the universe, trust God. Trust will improve your
worrying 100 percent.

Today, I open my mind to the inflowing ideas of the Divine Mind. I
have faith in the refreshing, restoring, creative power of Spirit, and I
move through my circumstances with ease and confidence.

How do we know what is true and what is not? Some things are
obviously true, and some, not so much. When we receive an e-mail
story, we can go to snopes.com and find out if it is true or not. But
how about when we are seeking spiritual truth? Does the big “T”
exist? Where do we find it?
Each of us will have to answer those questions for ourselves, but
there are other people who have found their answers, and we can
listen to them. As we explore different spiritual practices, we can
find the ones that fit our lives. We can then look within to our
own felt sense of rightness. We can ask ourselves, “Does what I am
hearing contain kindness, possibility, self-awareness? Does it feel
comfortable, and does it sit well in my heart?”
If the answer is yes, we can trust it as the truth for us, because we
can trust ourselves. All faith is built on trust, and all wisdom comes
forth from the source of truth.



Affirmation

Today, I become aware of my world as an expression of Divine Intelligence.
I trust the wisdom that flows through me from this Source.
I walk in the light of love and truth.

 It is said that you choose yoru friends, but not your family. this may be true in a human sense, but perhaps at some deeper soul level there is a degree of choosing our families.

The soul's wisdom in incarnating in human form surely includes a matching of family with the soul's path. Maybe we don't have a perfect family from the point of view of human comfort or ease, but perhaps we have had the perfect family for the soul's evolution. Perhaps the so-called "imperfections" of our families have created just the perfect opportunities to burnish the soul in some way that advances us, that ultimately gives us opportunities to work on particular aspects of ourselves.

And perphaps, if used consciously, the very imperfections of our families are perfect for the honing of particular gifts or ways that we express in the world. Life is so good to us, as the divine order of it all reveals itself and we see that everything serves the highest path.

Some may appear to have what we consider the perfect family with many of the ideals that conform to our ideas of family. Yet there is no such thing as a perfect family, only the perfect family for each individual. As for the latter, I would suggest that each one of us has the absolutely perfect family to support the soul's journey of unfolding into oneness.

Affirmation:

I embrace my family of origin. I accept any imperfections of my family as the perfection of my soul's highest calling.

In this moment of Infinite Blessing, I accept the Truth of my being.  I know I am One with the Energy and Source that created me.  I know I am made from an energy so perfect that It has created all that I see and all that is unseen.  Every particle holding everything in complete harmony and perfect order is the stuff I am made of.

Today I walk out of my old habitation of lack and insecurity.  I have moved to new quarters where I look out into an expansion of wonder and delight.  I see before me all that I desire for a life blessed with love, peace and joy.

The best part of it is that I get paid well to do what I love doing, what is natural for me. I feel tremendous joy for the way this Law of Mind works always in my favor. I feel at peace and secure. An exhibit in the Cloisters Museum in NY City features seven large tapestries depicting a hunt for the elusive, magical unicorn. Intricately detailed masterpieces of workmanship, the Unicorn Tapestries are beautiful and complex works of art from the late Middle Ages, luxuriously woven with the finest silk and gold threads.  Each square inch of the tapestries took a worker an entire day to weave. Clearly, the work was done with careful, patient attention.
Day by day, each one of us is weaving the beautiful tapestry of our own lives, and like the master artisans of the Middle Ages, we are called to weave with patient and caring attention. Let us practice patient and caring attention by knowing that everything that happens in our lives is part of our growth process. The larger picture of life's path unfolds as we stay at our task of weaving, focusing on the good that is always present around us and within us, staying attuned to the truth of our oneness with Spirit. In this way, our practice of patience allows life to become beautifully and perfectly woven.
Visualize the tapestry of your life as being beautifully woven. Give caring attention to your thoughts, words, and acts, knowing the truth of your oneness. Then, patiently allow the wholeness and perfection of your true nature to unfold more fully.

You can accomplish your heart's desire if you practice principles of success. Today, affirm that your self-image is clear and positive. See yourself in the light of truth, and know that who and what you are is an expression of wholeness. Say. " I am a strong and capable person. There is nothing I cannot do if I desire to do it. Whatever my mind can conceive and believe, I can achieve. I have the courage to be myself."

Clear your thoughts of doubt, and negation by continuing to envision yourself as successful. See that mental picture of your success, whatever that means to you; feel the feelings of a successful person- purposeful, enthusiastic, committed. Establish a clear picture in your mind of what you want to do and see yourself doing it. Conceive it, then believe it. Make your concept concrete, and allow your belief to build energy and attractive power within you. A powerful belief is a magnet, especially when combined with feelings and energy.

Commit to your goal, to your vision, and know that good is always available. Let go of any idea that it is in short supply. Good is infinite, and it is yours. The fullness and richness of God is everywhere evenly present in this universe. It is where I am this day, and I draw upon it with my consciousness. I know it is so, and I now demonstrate it. I Have the Right Attitude About Money

Divine Mind makes Itself known in my life as prosperity in every conceivable form, including money. Money is the means I use in exchange for goods and services and the means by which I show support and appreciation for what is important to me. Money is God in action.

I have a healthy attitude about money. It represents acceptance of Divine circulation in my life. Money flows to me and from me with ease and freedom, because I am a part of the continuous action of Divine Mind. I never deal with money in a way that makes me feel miserly. I now subconsciously accept this treatment. There is only one Creative Cause, God. There is only one Mind, God. There is only one Life, God. There is only one Substance, God. This present universe is the Glory of God. It is a moving, flexible, fluidic creation. It is alive with the Life, the Abundance, and the Richness of God. I abide in prosperity. Mind created me in order that It might act through me. Therefore, I am receptive to Its abundance. I am receptive to Its circulation in my life in the form of money. Money is God’s Idea of circulation in my world of finance. I accept this Idea completely. I appreciate this Idea; I like it. Money being God in Action, is absolute good, it is wholesome. It is a blessing to man, and I am now prospered with it. I have no fear of lack for I believe that I have plenty of money. It is God’s Activity in my world. It is God’s Activity in my bank account. It is God’s Activity in my investments. It is God’s Activity in everything to which I lay my hands. This money is flowing, this money is free. I do not attempt to lock it up. I do not put a fence around it. It is God’s money, I let it flow in, I let it flow out. As I release it, I know that it comes back to me, pressed down, shaken together and running over. “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” I am now free in money. I rejoice in it. I appreciate it, and I thank God for it. I have money forevermore.

I surrender to the Truth of my Source, the All-knowing Omnipotent presence that is in all things.  This same Energy that is in the rocks and flowers is in me.  We are One in Infinite Love.  Everything I am, everything I have, everything I see is made from the One Source, this Creative Mind.

I release all my ideas of separation; my ideas of having to compete for my share; the thought of lack in any area of my life.  It is all here for me now.  The unformed substance is all around me, awaiting my desire to manifest wondrous things and events.

I simply have to let go of old conditioning, old beliefs and ideas that no longer serve me.  I have won the lottery of life, I step up and move into a higher ground, knowing I am who I am leads me into the land of plenty.

No longer do I need to worry and fret about what will be.  It is all Good, it is all God.  I claim it, I know it.  I manifest it.  And so it is.
